Mark Boughton first started his career in the United States Army Reserve achieving the rank of Sergeant then transitioning to a Social Studies teacher in 1987 in the town of Danbury, CT. When the times became hard, he also tried his hand at being a business owner, a successful event in his life. Break-ing into politics in 1995 as a member of the Danbury Planning Commission, Mark has always been destined for a leadership role, which lead to his political career in 1998 as the State Representative for the 138th District of Connecticut. Today, he is known as Mayor Mark Boughton of Danbury, CT.
