What’s your ‘Why?’ If you find yourself unable to answer the question, it might be time to do some deep self-reflection. Dr. Eileen Moser explains that what is inside us is what drives us. And our purpose is personal to us: It cannot be created; only discovered. And once we know what our ‘Why’ is, we can only then figure out our ‘What’. Creating a personal vision statement requires a lot of thought and equal action. Along the journey, we are advised to look at hard moments as gifts that give us character. To rest and be confident in who we are when we know we’re trying our best. And, to understand that success is more than just your title—it has much more to do with the impact you make on the world. Today, Dr. Moser shows us the way. Pearls of Wisdom: 1. Success is about doing something good. It’s not about titles and achievements. 2. Distill the why, the what, and the how into your mission statement, vision statement, and SMART goals. 3. It’s going to be okay! You should be smart and take action, but after doing your best, rest and be confident in who you are.
