Find a mentor that matches both your goals and personality, aligns with your interests, and one who is invested in your success. 3. Continuity is a key aspect in building trust with patients, and motivational interviewing is a key skill for developing these connections. 4. Pay attention to your own self-care and well-being: Remember the importance of relaxation, networking, and keeping in touch with friends outside of medicine.
