Welcome to Monstercat's Mix Contest. 🏆 Become a finalist: www.monstercat.com/mixcontest2021 🎧 Listen to Past Seasons: monster.cat/mixcontest Once again, Monstercat gears up to launch its iconic contest in search of our next Mix Champion. Do you have what it takes to be on the show? ⭐️Submission Phase: MAY 19 - JUNE 16, 2020 ➤ Submit a 10 minute DJ mix of Monstercat releases. Our Judges will favour submissions that are closest to the 10-minute mark. ➤ Your submission must include the use of at least 1 of the provided acapellas in our download package. Be creative this is a key element of your submission our judges will be listening to. ➤ Within your download package is a sample Mix containing additional tips and guidance. It is highly recommended for you to listen in its entirety. ➤ At the end of the submission phase, 8 finalists will be selected and go on to compete for over 6 weeks (Broadcasted on Monstercat TV & The Mix Contest podcast). ⭐️The Mix Contest Season 6 MID JULY (tba) The second phase is where the 8 selected finalists from all around the world compete on the show for a chance to win an array of prizes and ultimately the title of Champion! Each week on the show, finalists will be assigned DJ-related challenges that test their skill and creativity. The finalists' skills will be put to test in front of our panel of Elite Judges and broadcasted on Monstercat TV When the dust settles, only one will be left standing. Our Champion DJ will not only win the 1st Place prize bundle but go on to headline our Winner’s Showcase virtual event! Now it’s your chance to take us on a journey with a mix highlighting your abilities and creativity. Those who make the cut will be best prepared to face the finalist challenges we’ve lined up.
