I hate to say I told you so... but... Instagram and Spotify made a couple of changes this week. Instagram now has a "shop" feature. Is this necessarily bad for you as a musician? No. But it is proof that overnight, with no warning that things can change. Spotify is also experimenting with offering people more placements on certain parts of their platform in exchange for LESS streaming revenue than you're already getting... The proof is right here. Don't put all of your focus on these 2 platforms.
