Talent Means Nothing To Me

What is talent? - something you’re good at without even trying. I HATE when people say I’m talented. I don’t give a shit about being talented. You don’t earn talent, and you don’t get rewarded for talent. The only thing you get rewarded for are results, and the only way to get results is through working hard, and working smart. Do I have things that I’m naturally good at? Sure I do. But I have way more things that I need to work hard at to improve if I want to be unstoppable. being super athletic won’t get you to the NBA. Everyone in the NBA is a freak athlete. It’s working harder than anyone else that will take you to the next step. Look at Michael Jordan. You can probably think of 5 people in the NBA right now who are more athletically gifted than him, but are they as great as him? So it isn’t just about what you’re good at without trying, it’s about what you’ve worked hard at to be GREAT.
