The Odds On Podcast - En podcast af Oddspedia

This is an audio version of our YouTube video. Our show starts on the blue side of Manchester, as Manchester City looks to capitalise on their first-leg dominance when they entertain Borussia Monchengladbach, this time in Budapest. Only a City victory is expected in Hungary, with Pep’s men topping the Premier League by a frankly ridiculous 17 points. Their German opponents are now 10th in the Bundesliga after falling to six defeats in a row following their 3-1 loss to Augsburg. They haven’t won a game since 3rd Feb. Also on Tuesday, 13-time winners Real Madrid take on Italian underdogs Atalanta in the Spanish capital. Zinedine Zidane’s men are 2nd in La Liga after beating Elche at the weekend through a Karim Benzema brace. They rested Toni Kroos and Luka Modric for that game, and with Sergio Ramos coming back into the side, Los Blancos could be ready for the next round. Gasperini’s Atalanta will need to overcome their one-goal deficit in the second-leg. The Bergamo club are 4th in Serie A after their convincing win at the weekend over Spezia. Wednesday’s hive of football fun begins in Berlin, as defending champions Bayern Munich host Lazio at the Allianz Arena. Last year’s winners are 4-1 up from the first-leg and are extremely unlikely to allow that to slip in their own backyard. In their last 18 Champions League games, the Bavarians have won 17 games and drawn another. Wow. Their opponents Lazio, meanwhile, know they face an uphill battle on the road. They arrive on the back of a 3-2 win over Serie A’s bottom side Crotone. The final Champions League game this week is likely to be a very cagey affair, with neither side wanting to be the first to concede. Chelsea host Atletico Madrid at Stamford Bridge with a one-goal advantage from their first-leg encounter. The Blues look transformed under new manager Thomas Tuchel, having conceded just twice in their last 12 matches. That’s fairly ridiculous if you think about it. They’re now up to 4th in the Premier League and look likely to secure that place for themselves. Diego Simeone’s Atlei drew with Getafe at the weekend, with their title tilt going quite askew. They’ve only won 2 of their last 7 games, with just 8 goals in 8 games. Our resident host Eduardo Siles is back to preview all the best action across Europe. Alvaro Romeo and Daniele Fisichella are our experts in football and betting, they’re here each and every week to preview, discuss, analyse and dissect every fixture of this season’s Champions League.
