Wait a minute… We’re back on Matchday 18. How did we get here? Well, you know what the Premier League is like – they don’t want to make it easy for us YouTube mega stars. There’s been some rescheduling, postponements, cup delays and Covid-related cancellations, but we should be back to the regime next week! This video starts with West Ham’s game against West Brom. David Moyes’ Hammers are looking towards the European spots nowadays, whilst Big Sam’s Baggies need to kick-on from their win over Wolves last time out in the Black Country derby. Game 2 is Leicester against Chelsea. The Foxes go top if they win. Yes, you read that correctly. What a crazy season, and Brendan’s side are still very much in with a shout of winning another Premier League title. Manchester City are at home to Aston Villa in the next game. Pep’s players are hitting form at the right time of the season and are the first team to record five consecutive wins in the league in 2020/21. They’re also unbeaten in nine, which doesn’t bode well for Villa’s chances at the Etihad. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United head to Craven Cottage looking to get back to winning ways following the Anfield dullfest last Sunday. The Red Devils are unbeaten in their last 16 away games in the league. The other side involved in that goalless and forgettable 0-0 are also in action. Defending league champions Liverpool are at home again, this time to Sean Dyche’s Burnley. The Reds are on a particularly poor run of form (for them), having failed to score in three straight league games for the first time since March 2005. The Clarets, meanwhile, are down in 17th and really could do with some more points on the board to enter February with some optimism. Our resident host Eduardo Siles is once again joined by football broadcaster and writer Tom Williams to work their way through another busy and hectic Premier League weekend on Matchday 18.
