It's the first episode of TurfCast! My good friend Ryan (aka THE Sports Turf King) and I decided we talk enough turf each day that we might as well record some of this stuff and help others along the way. Ryan is a graduate of Ohio State with degrees in turfgrass management and has been a mentor for me in my lawn care journey as well. In today's episode we talk about some of the extreme heat going on across the country and specifically how this can be a challenge for cool season grasses.
