Research on psychic abilities and phenomena has been conducted for hundreds of years. Since at least the 1970s, the US has invested in ESP investigations. These perceptions are part of the human experience and can be enhanced artificially through drugs and machines or naturally through meditation and human connection. We often overlook our ability to interfere with electronics or even turn off street lamps in certain emotional states that are often associated with poltergeist activity. The body is electric and electricity can both heal and harm. It is responsible for many of these psychic abilities and phenomena and though it remains largely unseen, it is used to power our world often with detrimental effect on our health.
