What happens when we let our inner critic speak too much, too often, and for too long? We start doubting ourselves, we take less risks, and we believe every bad thing that little voice says. Here’s the thing though, you are not your inner critic. You are so much more and so much better than that voice gives you credit for. I’ve noticed that around this time of year, my inner critic comes out especially hard. We fail on our new goals before we even start because we let that voice run the show. The inner critic comes out when you start hearing things like: “You should've worked out harder,” “I can’t believe you ate another cookie,” “You really messed up this time!
