Cycling, Strikes and Sea Monsters: Going Beyond with Justine Potter

In this episode, Anikó and Steve chat to director, producer and script editor Justine potter about adapting John Wyndham with Val McDermid, recording in coal mines, celebrities in the bed, having Liam Neeson whispering in her ear and how sound design and music can take drama into The Beyond. Justine Potter is a producer and development executive for TV and Radio, across Drama, Comedy and children's. In Radio she has directed and produced 100's of dramas.  In TV she works with writers to develop and edit their scripts and stories right up until the crews start filming. She's worked with broadcasters, including BBC Radio and TV, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5  in the UK, as well as American and European broadcasters, and for indies, including Red Productions, LA Productions, Savvy Productions and CanCan Productions. She also ran BBC Writer's Room North, giving many writers their first break into scripted commissions.
