Smadar Cohen-Chen joins host William Corless in this episode to discuss negotiation through the female lens. Smadar is currently a senior lecturer in the management department, in the Sussex Business School at University of Sussex.  She received her PhD in social psychology from the University of Sheffield in 2014 and then spent two years as a visiting Assistant Professor in The Kellogg School of Management, North Western University. Her research focuses on the role of emotions and emotional expression and regulation in interpersonal and social processes. This includes conflict, conflict resolution, decision-making, and negotiations.  She’s been teaching negotiations for seven years for MBA students, executive postgraduate and undergraduates and she has also conducted workshops on cross cultural negotiation, specifically negotiation for women.
