Lexi McMonagle's elegant garden soirée
Today on The You and Me Podcast we chat with Lexi McMonagle - designer for swimwear label Seafolly.Braidan and Lexi met while they both lived in Brisbane yet came together again when Lexi made the trip down to live in Sydney with him after some long distance relationship work. Braidan was able to convince Lexi to come with him for a picnic in the park with Lexi thinking the ring box was actually chocolate brownies! She was in for the best surprise when she turned around with him down on one knee asking her to marry him!Lexi and Braidan worked alongside Belinda from The Curated Life and got married in a private residence in Elizabeth's Bay in NSW - surrounding themselves with amazing suppliers such as Erin and Tara for their photography, they leaned on the professionalism of the suppliers to come together to create magical moments for them and their guests.The weather played havoc in the lead up to their wedding day - stressful moments were had the morning of, with torrential rain setting in for what seemed like the rest of the year!
