Supporters of ousted and imprisoned former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his PTI party members were protesting for the release of Khan and that the elections were a sham.   Khan, during his time in office took a vehemently neutral stance on the Russian invasion of the Ukraine. The US didn’t like this. In an August article from the Intercept, it looks like the U.S. was involved in the ouster of Khan in favor of a more Western friendly regime.   Thank you guys again for taking the time to check this out.
