Love Bombing is where one person "bombs" another with constant complements and communication.  This is a technique that is most commonly assosciated with cults, but it can and does frequently happen with narcissists or emotional manipulators of anykind.  

To a person who is "starved out" emotionally, love bombing can feel intoxicating and be easily mistaken for love--when in reality it is a huge red flag of highly problematic behavior.
