He is a graduate of William Carey University, where he earned a B.A. in Religion. He holds an M.T.S from Gateway Theological Seminary. He is a recent graduate of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he earned a Ph.D. in Theology. His dissertation focused on a critique of Robotic Futurism and the potential of Dehumanization. He is currently working on his third book On Violent Technologies with Trivent Publishing. Focus of Research includes: Theological Anthropology Ethics of War The Nature of Technology Personhood Jurisprudence Christian Ethics Metaphysics Philosophy of Mind Follow him here or at @JoshuaK_Smith https://wipfandstock.com/9781666710717/robot-theology/ --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/truestoriesandscience/support
