Turning 30 and my Egg-Freezing Journey

In the second instalment of my solo podcast series where I am diving into the key topics that have positivity impacted my thirties, I am sharing my personal journey of freezing my eggs at the age of 35. After an unexpected break-up at age 33, I started to explore the option of freezing my eggs as an insurance policy for the future. Six months ago, I went through one round of egg-freezing and in this episode I am answering the most common questions I have received about it. Questions that I answer include: How I went from considering it to actually going through with it How much it costs The ideal age to freeze eggs Where to start once I decided to go ahead How to prepare your body before Details of the process itself How the hormones affected me The egg-retrieval itself How I felt afterwards If I shared with men I was dating I am such an advocate for sharing knowledge about female fertility and I have used this episode as an opportunity to give a true insight into what it’s really like. I also invite you to check out my journey at my private egg-freezing IG account @emmaseggs, where I documented in real-time. DISCLAIMER: I am not a medical professional and any of the medical  information shared in this episode is a culmination of my personal research, personalized information from my own healthcare professionals and my own experience freezing my eggs. I am not a fertility doctor and if you have further questions or want tailored medical advice, I recommend taking this up with your own healthcare provider   Emma’s IG: @turning30coach
