EPISODE SIXTY FIVE: Two Guys Talking Rush/ Pt.1 w Zbigniew Rybczyński

Hellooo! In 2013, writer Adrian Begrand (Popmatters) listed the Rush song "Time Stand Still" at #8 on his "10 Songs That Will Make You Love Rush", calling it "Rush’s best pop moment." And I would have to agree… It is truly one of their best. However, according to many fans the accompanying video might also be one of Rush’s worse visual moments. Regardless on your take of what the infamous TSS video is really getting at…after you listen to this episode of Two Guys Talking Rush you may discover that it could be the most misunderstood during their “VHS years.” As always, we like to deep dive on this show…and this might be our “deepest.” As we turn the clocks back, and settle into the dark doldrums of winter lets reflect on a time when Rush were both experimental with their music, flying capabilities, and videos… and we have award winning Polish filmmaker/innovator Zbigniew “Zbig” Rybczyński to thank for that. Be thankful folks. Hug a friend, a family member, a stranger (mask up) and remember… Summer's going fast
