In fact, I was pretty down in the dumps a few weeks ago. It was just getting to be too much. As busy moms, we’ve already got so much on our plates in the best of times and now with EVERYTHING else that is 2020, it’s hard to stay sane. Not only do we have the coronavirus, it feels like the whole world is falling apart. In the U.S. we have the politicalization of mask wearing, a no-holds-barred election (even local races are getting ugly), long-overdue protests for equal rights, huge climate issues (I’m in CA so the giant forest fires come to mind), an unraveling economic crisis, oh and we’re supposed to be able to teach our kids from home so it was time for me to figure out how to get some quiet alone time back. These 9 strategies have been working amazingly well and helping me find calm in this crazy world. I know they can work for you too. This episode of the Wannabe Minimalist Show will help you discover: What we recently started doing that has made the biggest impact for our whole family Why having less clutter is essential for creating a calm home The #1 thing I was super hesitant to do, but am now super happy I did and why you should do it too How to carve out time for yourself even if you feel you have no time in your day How I use my watch to be present for my family ********************** Music: Fresh Lift by Shane Ivers - https://www.silvermansound.com Happy by MBB https://soundcloud.com/mbbofficial  Creative Commons — Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported — CC BY-SA 3.0 Free Download / Stream: https://bit.ly/Happy-MBB  Music promoted by Audio Library https://youtu.be/g6swHZbWtRc  ********************** Subscribe & Review Are you subscribed to the Wannabe Clutter Free podcast? Ready to stop the overwhelm and start enjoying your life more? This podcast will help you declutter the piles of stuff, organize the things you want to keep, and learn to let go of the rest with positive mindsets and encouragement. As a busy mom who's been there, done that, I share stories of the crazy - like selling 80% of what we owned to travel with our toddler to the mundane - like having to run a home now that our kiddo's in school. Living with less is not about deprivation - just the opposite! Decluttering can open you up for a life of freedom you never knew was possible. And you won’t hear it just from me - there are amazing guests too! It’s practical, doable, and simple for those of us that wannabe clutter free.
