This week, Chris has learnt about the truly horrific winter of 1948/1949, that saw the American government send thousands of people to clear snow and ice and rebuild the infrastructure that was destroyed by three months of snow. Chris tells us a few stories involving cows, dynamite and an unusual trip to a hospital. Then Harrison has been learning about crime in Japan, specifically bank robberies. Japan has the lowest murder rate in the world and some of the lowest crime rates, but that only means that when such things as bank robberies happen, they are quite remarkable.
