In early July, 2002 Michael Dunne traveled to Vietnam to take a closer look at VinFast, the remarkably young and ambitious manufacturer of electric vehicles. VinFast is a subsidiary of Vingroup, the largest private company in Vietnam. Chairman and Founder Pham Nhat Vuong and VinFast CEO Madame Thuy are determined to make VinFast a global success.
