Civil War in Tajikistan

In 1992, shortly after the collapse of the USSR, a civil war erupted in Tajikistan, a Central Asian country bordering Afghanistan. Over 30,000 people lost their lives during the five years of fighting. Dina Newman speaks to a villager whose family got caught up in the Islamic opposition.
