Insolate

Insolate is a verb that means to place in the sunlight. The Latin word sol (SOLE) refers to ‘the sun.’ From this, our word of the day gets its origin. To insolate something means to place it in sunlight. I tend to get a little lazy when it comes to taking care of my plants. Sometimes I go weeks where I forget to insolate them because I don’t always remember how important it is that they get sunlight.
