Jill Haber is a self-proclaimed People Connector and has gained valuable networking throughout her career. She knew she was a networker from an early age and utilized this ability to her advantage. She has over 15 years’ experience developing and executing comprehensive integrated marketing programs for some of the world's top brands including Toyota, Amstel Light, and Hershey’s. Recently, Jill had a LinkedIn post about being laid off during COVID-19 go viral, with over 350,000 views. As a result of the post, Jill was inundated with well wishes and LinkedIn connection requests. She chose to use her new LinkedIn “influencer” status to help others who were laid off or furloughed as a result of the pandemic by highlighting one unemployed person each day to her network. Post views are typically over 2,000 and have gone as high as 5,000 views. Through her new networking endeavor, a reporter from Bloomberg news reached out to Jill to be featured in an article about the extra $600/week for those who are receiving unemployment benefits that ended on July 31st. With so many people like Jill relying on the extra $600/week to help pay the bills, she received comments and direct messages from unemployed people from all over the country. In addition to the article, Bloomberg also featured Jill in a digital short video on the same topic. Jill’s goal is to use her new found “LinkedIn fame” to continue to support the countless wonderful people who are struggling to find work in this economy. She is also a spin instructor and accomplished triathlete, outside of work you can find Jill in the gym, on a hiking trail or navigating the ocean on her paddle board.
