Welcome to NuDirections FM, the show NuDirections has now morphed into NuDirections FM, an internet-based music service & platform comprising of music lovers from around the globe, who have come together through a mutual love of music exploring the past and present ever-changing DNA of non-mainstream music. NuDirections FM is a non-pretentious and non-political platform. Where the only criteria needed to join us if there is a suitable slot - is your love of music and your fellow man. Regardless of race, location, religion and gender, where every person can reach their full potential and have an equal part to play in what we are creating - where our presenters feel comfortable and by supporting each other they will help to improve and develop their collective skills. The NuDirections show first started broadcasting on a community radio station in early 2020, and the response was instant and so overwhelming that NuDirections released shows on Mixcloud, there NuDirections was constantly in the global top 20 shows. In November 2020 NuDirections left community radio and Mixcloud to join Vanderlay Radio. Realising there is potentially a wider audience NuDirections left Vanderlay in December 2020 to become an independent podcaster with an eventual global audience of 9000+. NuDirections FM, we will release weekly shows and mixes bringing together music from many different cultural, ethnic and diverse styles, Music that's both uncompromising and bold, linking together new, favourites, standards, experimental, vintage, obscure and sometimes challenging music. Always searching for the extreme and hard-to-categorize sound, that has often fallen between the cracks.
