Ep 37 - Lucy's Journey to Western States

This week on the Femmi Pod we have a three time returning guest to the pod - none other than our Head Femmi Trail and ultra coach - Lucy Bartholomew. Lucy is one of Australia's finest ultra and trail runners, with a long list of accolades to her name. Recently Lucy was on a mission to run the famous Western States Ultramarathon in the US for the third time. Unfortunately Lucy faced a few challenges throughout the race and wasn’t able to complete the course. Lucy has always been one of the strongest athletes we know. Throughout this episode Lucy dives into her journey both in the build up and in the race, and although only three weeks post race, she explains her lessons and learnings from her experience at Western States 2022.
