Health Bites: Episode 3- The Gut and The Immune System.

I  wanted to create a new series called "Health Bites" and just like   "sound bites" these are short podcasts on a variety of topics within   "health and wellness" For the third episode of health bites,  I wanted to talk about the relationship between the gut and the immune system.  The immune system is made in the gut, so, for the immune system to thrive, the gut must be healthy and healed.  Factors that affect the health of the gut, will affect the health of the immune system.  Studies have shown time and again, the only way to create, protect, and boost the immune system is through our nutritional choices, sadly, dependency on supplements and other quick fixes will only hurt your immune system in the long-term.  Disclaimer: The sole purpose of these articles and podcasts is to   provide information and education about health, nutrition, fitness, and   wellness.
