Skin Health continued: An interview with Meg McRae, skin technician and registered Nurse

In our latest episode of the Nourished Wrap, we continue to dive into the topic of skin health. Last week we had a look from 'the inside out' and this week we look more from 'the outside in.'This week we are lucky enough to be joined by registered Nurse and skin technician from the B Clinic Brisbane, Meg McRae.Meg has an interesting background having formal qualifications in both conventional medicine and holistic medicine with a keen interest in nutrition in particular. Meg loves to educate her clients to look after the skin with a 'less is more' approach. In this episode she explains why we need to look at what's in our beauty products and what kind of key ingredients are helpful but not harmful to our skin. Meg explains why less is more and we touch on the microbiome on the skin itself. We hope that you enjoy this final episode in our mini series on skin and on a housekeeping note, the seminar with the B Clinic and the Balanced Nutritionist (mentioned in this episode) has been postponed for now until next year. Finally, you can find and book in with Meg McRae for a skin consultation by phoning the B Clinic or booking online here: https://www.bclinic.com.au/book-online/

Om Podcasten

Welcome to The Happy Apple Podcast, bought to you by me, Katie King aka The Balanced Nutritionist. I live in Brisbane, Australia, but I work via telehealth so I reach people all around Australia and occasionally abroad. The Happy Apple podcast drops monthly, covering a wide variety of health topics but we ALWAYS try to keep the conversation positive and happy. Food should not be a source of stress.... it can be BOTH nutritious and delicious at the same time. I'm here to remind you that healthy food is fun and exciting and its ok to have an apple in one hand and the occasional croissant in the other! We rebranded this podcast in early 2021, so some of the older episodes will be under the old title 'The Nourished Wrap' - all of the episodes are worth listening too, in my opinion. To access my services, you can visit my website. I have a number of different online courses you can do from your own home or you can book a consultation with me. I also offer workplace solutions for corporate wellness. Thanks for tuning in and enjoy the show.
